The Wally Bronner Lifetime Achievement Award
Howard L. Garrett, Midland
For decades, Howard Garrett has volunteered for numerous organizations involved with beautification, naturalization & environmental projects. From the Midland Chippewa Nature Center and Bicentennial Forest to parking lots and malls, greenbelts and entranceways, to bicycle and pedestrian trails, Howard has been involved with it all. An avid photographer of nature, he has been a member of the Midland Beautification Advisory Commission since 1989 and has served as chair of the MBAC since 1998. For his long-time service to the City of Midland and the State of Michigan, we congratulate Howard on being the first recipient of the Wally Bronner Lifetime Achievement Award!
