Lynne Reinhardt—Romancing the Lighthouse<
Lighthouses shone brightly in the City of Manistee as 22 local and regional artists combined their talents to decorate them in a summer spectacle called "Romancing the Lighthouse". As lighthouses fade into history as beacons of navigation, Manistee has honored their memory in a creative display that revitalized the downtown area from June through September of 2005. The eventual auction of the lighthouses has enabled Manistee to fund beautification projects that will serve the public well into the future.
