Williamston History Plaza

Along the Red Cedar River lays the foundation of Williamston s heritage. History Plaza includes an encapsulated millstone and also kiosk plaques describing the original gristmill and various bridges over the Red Cedar Riven Another plaque along the boardwalk identifies native and non-native plant species along the riverbank and on the island. Special thanks go to the Williamston Sunrise Rotary, Earl Wolf, community historians and the Downtown Development Authority for making History Plaza a new Williamston landmark.
